What do you think of when you hear this phrase?
Here's how I think it plays out.
The Buyer "Yes! I want a bargain on an amazing home!"
The Bank "We will smother you in red tape and this will last for 100 years"
The Realtor "Please, no. There are so many other nice homes!"
In a way, each of these are true. The one thing everyone can agree on is a Short Sale is anything but short. It is a lengthy process with a lot of waiting.
I had the pleasure of guiding the very sweetest buyers through this process. It was three months from contract to close and there was some crazy drama along the way, but in the end, my clients ultimately purchased an amazing home for a *great* price!
They will have long days ahead, this home definitely needs some cosmetic updates (did I mention there was CARPET in the BATHROOM!) but they are fortunate to be young, have a tremendous network of skilled family and friends, and are enthusiastic about rolling up their sleeves and making it their own.
Seriously, how cute are these two?
